Bradley Barcola's PSG exit hopes in doubt as Arsenal and Liverpool refuse to meet £60m asking price

Bradley Barcola wants out of Paris Saint-Germain this summer – but neither Arsenal nor Liverpool are willing to meet the £60m asking price, leaving the Champions League winner's future in limbo.

The 23-year-old France forward has played a key role in PSG's back-to-back Champions League triumphs, scoring 13 goals in 49 appearances last season. Yet according to talkSPORT, he has now requested a move away from the Parc des Princes, putting both Premier League clubs on alert.

PSG's Bradley Barcola wants to leave but Arsenal and Liverpool unwilling to meet £60m valuation.

PSG themselves are not opposed to selling. L'Equipe reports they are open to letting the 23-year-old leave, while a Standard Sport source confirms the Ligue 1 giants would entertain offers. The player's contract runs until 2028, meaning PSG hold significant leverage – and they have slapped a £60m price tag on the versatile forward.

That valuation, however, has become the sticking point. Standard Sport understands that neither Arsenal nor Liverpool are willing to pay that sum this summer, despite both clubs being in the market for attacking reinforcements. Liverpool, under new manager Andoni Iraola who replaced Arne Slot earlier this month, are also looking at RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande. Arsenal, meanwhile, have their eyes on Bournemouth's Eli Junior Kroupi and Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers.

PSG boss Luis Enrique had made his stance clear last year, saying: "Bradley Barcola's future? I have no doubt he'll remain our player. We like the fact that our players are interesting to other clubs. But he's one of those young players we've been banking on. I expect him to play here for many more years."

That statement now appears at odds with Barcola's own wishes. With neither Arsenal nor Liverpool prepared to meet the asking price – and no other club publicly named as a suitor – the forward may face a difficult decision: push for a cut-price exit or stay in Paris.

For now, the impasse leaves one of the summer's most intriguing transfer stories hanging in the balance.
