Who am I? The daily quiz challenging football fans to name World Cup stars

A new daily puzzle is testing football fans’ knowledge of World Cup stars – and offering a chance to score points by guessing with as few clues as possible.

The game, ‘Who am I?’, presents a new footballer each day. Players must identify the mystery player in as few attempts as they can. After each wrong guess, an additional clue is unlocked. The fewer clues needed, the higher the score: three attempts is considered a good score, while four or five points is exceptional.

Today’s player and accompanying clues have been set by BBC Sport’s Huzaifah Khan. The quiz is part of a series leading up to the Fifa World Cup 2026, and fans are encouraged to return daily for a fresh challenge.
