British tourist, 28, dies on Ibiza holiday as family raises £23,000 to bring him home

Jake Tyler Duffield, 28, from Norfolk, died last Friday while on holiday in Ibiza with friends, leaving his family “completely devastated”. The cause of his death remains unclear. His step-mother, Nicki Duffield, described him as “a kind caring lad who loved the party vibes”, adding that she had watched him become “the lovely man that he was” since he entered her life in 2010. Now his loved ones are desperately trying to bring him home. Pub landlord Paul Sandford set up a fundraiser to cover the significant repatriation costs. “Our immediate priority is to bring Jake home to the UK, where his family can finally have him close and give him the farewell he truly deserves,” Sandford said. The community has responded swiftly: the GoFundMe page has already raised more than £23,000. The Foreign Office confirmed it is supporting the family and is in contact with local authorities. For Jake’s family, every donation brings them closer to the moment they can lay him to rest on home soil.
