Coventry City will begin their first Premier League campaign in 25 years with a Friday night trip to the champions, Arsenal, on 21 August – a curtain raiser that pits the newly promoted side against Mikel Arteta's Gunners, who ended a 22-year wait for the title last season.
Hull City, who went up via the play-offs, host Manchester United on Saturday, 22 August, while fellow promoted side Ipswich welcome Sunderland on the same day. Manchester City start life without Pep Guardiola at home to Bournemouth on Sunday, 23 August – the Cherries also have a new manager in Marco Rose. Liverpool's first match under Andoni Iraola, who replaced the sacked Arne Slot after leaving Bournemouth, is away at Newcastle on the same day. Chelsea begin life under Xabi Alonso away at Fulham on Monday, 24 August, with the Cottagers still to appoint a new manager after Marco Silva's departure.

Other opening weekend fixtures include Everton v Crystal Palace, Brentford v Spurs, Leeds v Nottingham Forest, and Brighton v Aston Villa. The season concludes on 30 May 2027, with Arsenal at home to Brighton, City at Sunderland, and Liverpool hosting Iraola's former club Bournemouth. Boxing Day sees Coventry's manager, Frank Lampard, visit Chelsea.
