Currys Business is racing to meet demand from small businesses that are being squeezed by rising costs and an ever-growing need for technology. The retailer has opened 10 new business hubs across the UK, bringing its total to 70, after reporting 20 per cent year-on-year growth.
Located inside existing Currys stores, the hubs are designed to give SMEs access to dedicated business customer managers, specialist tech expertise, and tailored support for local organisations. The company is also promoting flexible payment options, including a newly launched leasing service.
“Currys Business opens 10 new hubs after 20% growth, offering SMEs tech support amid rising costs”
The expansion comes as UK SMEs “continue to balance rising costs with an increasing reliance on technology”, according to the retailer. The hubs aim to help businesses navigate those pressures through straightforward, people-led support that focuses on the day-to-day realities of running a company.
Each hub offers expert one-to-one advice, flexible ways to pay, and technology that “works as hard as you do”. Currys Business is betting that its physical presence in stores, combined with specialist knowledge, will appeal to small businesses that need more than an off-the-shelf solution.
The move signals that Currys is doubling down on the SME market as part of a wider push to grow its services arm. With 70 hubs now open, the retailer is positioning itself as a partner for businesses that are trying to do more with less.
