Elbit Systems UK to showcase advanced air tech at Farnborough 2026

Elbit Systems UK will bring a new wave of defence technology to the Farnborough skies next July, promising to expand its U-TacS manufacturing in Britain. The British subsidiary of Israeli defence technology company Elbit Systems said its display at the Farnborough International Airshow – to be held in Hampshire from July 20-24 – would focus on capabilities designed to support the British Armed Forces and address emerging operational challenges.

The company plans to showcase a range of aviation, electronic warfare, training and laser technologies, along with uncrewed systems. Among the systems on show will be pilot and mission training systems designed to prepare aircrews in realistic operational environments, and airborne self-protection suites incorporating electronic warfare capabilities. The U-TacS manufacturing expansion underscores Elbit Systems UK's commitment to building indigenous defence industrial capacity in Britain.

During the airshow, the company intends to present its business strategy and the capabilities it could provide to Britain’s Ministry of Defence and other companies in the defence industry. The announcement comes as the UK seeks to modernise its armed forces amid evolving threats, and the technologies on display are expected to highlight how Elbit Systems UK can contribute to national security priorities.
