Harry Kane’s late winner against DR Congo has set up a World Cup last-16 meeting with co-hosts Mexico — and the match will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
The Three Lions edged past DR Congo 2-1 in the last 32, with Kane scoring the decisive goal. Now they face Mexico at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City on Monday 6 July at 01:00 BST, one of four round-of-16 ties the BBC will show live.

France will take on Paraguay on Saturday at 22:00, with La Albirroja having eliminated Germany on penalties in the previous round. European champions Spain will play either Portugal or Croatia in Dallas on Monday at 20:00, also on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Co-hosts United States face Belgium on Tuesday at 01:00 as Mauricio Pochettino’s side aim to extend a historic run. The remaining four last-16 matches will be shown on ITV.
