The US technology buy-and-build group Evergreen has completed its 11th UK acquisition, snapping up Datel, one of the country’s largest Sage partners. The deal, executed through Evergreen’s Pine Services Group, marks the latest move in a relentless acquisition spree that has seen the company target founder-led managed service providers, software specialists, and technology services firms across Britain and Ireland.
Datel will continue to operate under its existing brand and leadership as part of Pine Services Group. “The new ownership brings investment, expertise, and support that will help us continue to grow, innovate, and deliver value to our customers and partners,” the company said in a statement.
“Evergreen completes 11th UK acquisition, buying Sage partner Datel via Pine Services Group.”
The acquisition strategy shows no signs of slowing. Evergreen has now completed 11 acquisitions in the UK alongside two in Ireland, as it expands its footprint across the region. The group’s focus on buy-and-build growth has made it a significant consolidator in the channel, picking up businesses that can benefit from its backing while retaining their identity.
For Datel, the deal provides access to resources that could accelerate its development as a Sage partner. The company’s leadership remains in place, ensuring continuity for customers while tapping into Evergreen’s broader network. The transaction adds to a growing list of UK channel firms that have joined the Evergreen stable, reinforcing the group’s presence in the market.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
