The finalist shortlist for the Insurance Times Tech and Innovation Awards 2026 has been released, with contenders across nine categories now vying for the top spots.
The awards recognise the best use of technology in customer experience across insurers, claims, and fraud prevention, alongside innovation prizes for brokers, insurers, MGAs, service providers, and technology service providers.

This year's categories include: Best Use of Technology for Customer Experience – Insurer; Best Use of Technology for Customer Experience; Best Use of Technology for Customer Experience – Claims; Counter Fraud Innovation of the Year; Innovation of the Year – Broker; Innovation of the Year – Insurer; Innovation of the Year – MGA; Innovation of the Year – Service Provider; and Innovation of the Year – Technology Service Provider.
The announcement comes alongside the publication of the Insurance Times Talent Development Report 2026, produced in association with Intact, and a new UK product liability report in association with Arch. Separately, the winners of the Claims Excellence Awards 2026 have also been named.
The finalists represent the industry's push to harness technology for improved customer outcomes and operational efficiency, though the full list of named entrants has not been disclosed. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony later in the year.
