Inter Milan are working on deals for Tottenham's England defender Djed Spence and Argentina centre-back Cristian Romero, according to Italian reports. The Serie A champions are pursuing the 25-year-old Spence and 28-year-old Romero as they look to strengthen their backline.
Liverpool have moved to the front of the queue for Japan midfielder Kaishu Sano, with the club prepared to offer up to 60 million euros (£50.9m) for the 25-year-old Mainz player. Sano has also attracted interest from Arsenal, Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund, but the Reds are now leading the race.

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Walter Benitez, 33, could terminate his contract to return to Nice, while Newcastle are in talks with Brighton's Carl Rushworth, 25, and Manchester City's James Trafford, 23.
Fulham have joined Coventry and Chelsea in looking at Strasbourg winger Martial Godo, 23, and Ipswich have made an approach for Leicester's Abdul Fatawu, 22. Crystal Palace are also interested in Augsburg defender Chrislain Matsima, 24, and Leeds continue their pursuit of Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, 23, despite the Italian club's reluctance to let him go.
The flurry of activity suggests a busy summer window ahead, with several Premier League clubs jostling for reinforcements across multiple positions.
