Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Wales international Harry Wilson on a four-year contract, the attacking midfielder arriving as a free agent after his Fulham deal expired at the end of June. The 29-year-old, who joined Fulham from Liverpool for £12m in 2022 following a loan spell, enjoyed his best Premier League goalscoring return last term with 10 goals in 36 appearances. Wilson, capped 69 times by Wales, said: "When the season finished and I became a free transfer, I felt Leeds were the team that really showed the interest in me. As a player, you want to play for a team which you feel like they want you and you feel like they are doing everything to get you. Really, really excited. It is a massive, massive club in the Premier League. To play for Leeds, you have to have a big personality. You have to be able to deal with pressure - the demands of the club and demands of the fans." Wilson becomes Leeds' first signing of the summer; the club have also been linked with Southampton midfielder Shea Charles and Germany midfielder Julian Brandt, who left Borussia Dortmund when his contract expired.
In other transfer business, Brentford have confirmed their third summer signing as experienced forward Callum Wilson joins, a move praised by Keith Andrews. The striker remains in London after West Ham slipped into the Championship.
