The summer transfer window is gathering pace, with Manchester United and Arsenal leading the scramble for reinforcements after a flurry of activity on Thursday.
Real Madrid are open to selling France midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, 26, to Manchester United, according to reports. The La Liga giants' willingness to part with the defensive midfielder has triggered a swift response from Old Trafford, where recruitment staff are also considering AS Roma's Manu Kone, 25, and Brighton's Carlos Baleba, 22. Bournemouth's Tyler Adams, valued at about £35m, remains another option as United aim to bolster their engine room.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have turned their attention to England duo John Stones and Ezri Konsa after an injury to France defender William Saliba. The Gunners are targeting the 32-year-old former Manchester City centre-back and Aston Villa's 28-year-old Konsa to shore up their backline.
Elsewhere, Chelsea have emerged as favourites to sign 18-year-old Bosnia-Herzegovina attacking midfielder Kerim Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen, with Xabi Alonso's side also in talks to sell French centre-back Axel Disasi, 28, to Crystal Palace. The Blues have already completed the biggest deal of the summer, landing England star Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa for a reported £117m.
In other moves, Celtic striker Daizen Maeda, 28, will undergo a medical on Friday to complete his £10m switch to Ipswich Town, while Liverpool are leading the race for PSG target Bradley Barcola. The Reds, under new head coach Andoni Iraola, are also facing a crucial summer amid takeover talks.
Liverpool and England Under-20 defender Amara Nallo, 19, is set to join Finnish club HJK Helsinki on a season-long loan, and Leeds United winger Jack Harrison, 29, is closing in on a move to MLS side New England Revolution.
