Police have released an image of a 45-year-old man they are urgently seeking after a motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run in east London, and the car driver fled the scene.
Lee Culleton is wanted in connection with the fatal crash on the A12 Whalebone Lane in Romford, which happened at 9.20pm on Sunday, July 19. Officers, paramedics and firefighters raced to the scene, but the 28-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead. Specialist officers are supporting his family.

Culleton, described as around 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in with a medium to large build, is known to frequent Canvey Island in Essex. Police believe he fled the car on foot in the direction of Chadwell Heath.
Detective Inspector Mark Braithwaite, leading the investigation, said: “We are keen to speak with Mr Culleton in connection with this incident, which has resulted in a man tragically losing his life. If any members of the public see Culleton, we strongly advise you not to approach him and to call 999 as soon as possible.”
The Metropolitan Police said they have been pursuing “several lines of enquiry” and are now asking for the public’s help. Anyone with information is urged to call 999 quoting reference CAD 7142/19JUL, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
