Manchester City winger Savinho is open to leaving the club and keen to join Premier League rivals Tottenham, with the Brazil international a key target for Spurs head coach Roberto de Zerbi. The 22-year-old, who joined City from sister club Troyes for £30.8m in July 2024, signed a two-year contract extension last October keeping him at the Etihad until 2031. But after seeing his game time limited last season—36 appearances across all competitions in Pep Guardiola's final campaign, down from 48 the previous year—Savinho is now pushing for a move to London. Competition for starting spots from Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo has added to his frustrations.
Meanwhile, Jack Grealish has been left out of City's pre-season tour of Asia as he continues his recovery from a long-term foot injury that cut short his loan spell at Everton last season. The 30-year-old, with one year remaining on his contract, will not join the squad for matches against Inter Milan in Hong Kong, the K-League All-Stars and Atletico Madrid in South Korea. New City boss Enzo Maresca said of Grealish: "At the moment, he's here. He's a Man City player. It's my duty to try to coach them. Jack is here. I have a good relation with Jack since I left. And then we see what happens." Former Aston Villa star Gabby Agbonlahor tipped Grealish to move abroad, saying: "I don't see him staying there, I see him moving on. It wouldn't surprise me if he moves somewhere else in Europe."
