SpaceX is preparing for its public market debut, with the company now valued at more than $1.8 trillion. The milestone comes more than two decades after the firm was co-founded by Elon Musk and Tom Mueller in 2002.
Mueller, who was the company's first employee, recently spoke to the BBC's Michelle Fleury about Musk's vision. As 'employee number one', Mueller helped build the company from the ground up.
