Parents rush to Tesco for £1.13 school polo shirts before Clubcard sale ends Sunday

With the summer holidays barely begun, parents are already racing to Tesco to grab a back-to-school bargain: F&F polo shirts costing as little as £1.13 each. The offer — 25% off a wide range of school uniform essentials for Tesco Clubcard holders — ends on Sunday, July 26.

The discount slashes prices across the board. A three-pack of boys’ pure cotton polo shirts drops from £4.50 to £3.38, working out at £1.13 per shirt. The same deal applies to girls’ polo shirts, available in white and blue, both featuring stain-repellent technology. For smarter looks, a three-pack of slim-fit short-sleeved shirts is £3.75 for younger sizes (ages 4–16) and £6.75 for sizes 15–16, meaning £1.25 or £2.25 per shirt respectively. The shirts are made from cotton-rich fabric with an easy-iron finish and reinforced seams to withstand daily wear.

Trousers are also included: a two-pack of regular-fit black school trousers with adjustable waistbands and a ‘grow with me’ hem costs £5.25, down from £7. For girls, a two-pack of pleated pinafore dresses is reduced to £8.25 from £11, made from stain-repellent fabric with a front zip fastening.

Shoppers need only scan their Tesco Clubcard at checkout or use it online to claim the discount. But time is tight — the promotion runs out in just two days.

F&F itself has mixed feedback on TrustPilot. One shopper praised a pair of men’s summer shorts: “Excellent quality and fit. Price more competitive than other main shop suppliers and quality not impeded.” Another review was less glowing, noting of flared trousers: “Very good for the price. However, they do have very limited…” — the comment trailed off without detailing the limitation.

For parents still looking, the sale covers everything from sweatshirts to stationery, with the cheapest items likely to sell out fastest as the deadline approaches.
