She’s danced alongside the Spice Girls in front of millions, but on Tuesday night Victoria Beckham was the one fangirling – pom poms aloft, grinning alongside the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. The 52-year-old former Posh Spice joked “did I make the squad” as she copied the professionals, shaking a pom pom in the air at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. The Beckham family had flown out for the World Cup, and between matches they made good use of downtime. Victoria filmed the cheerleaders during practice, captioning her Instagram story: “While in Dallas. Thunderstruck!!!” Her daughter Harper, 15, also spent time getting to know the stars, and David Beckham, 51, suited and booted for the France vs Spain semi-final, cuddled up to his wife next to the pom-pom clutching squad. Also in the group snap were sons Romeo, Cruz and his girlfriend Jackie. The family have been spotted by fans in VIP boxes across a string of World Cup clashes and are expected to attend tonight’s match. They said goodbye to Dallas hours ago and could be heading to Atlanta, Georgia, where England face Argentina in a semi-final showdown. Victoria shared a picture of David sitting on a stadium step, grinning in a cowboy hat, with the caption: “Goodbye Dallas!” England vs Argentina kicks off at 8pm BST, live on BBC One. One of football’s fiercest rivalries is renewed as Spain await the winners.
