Asda shoppers have been left scrambling for an £8 leopard print dress, which has racked up a four-and-a-half star rating and is now sold out both in store and online.
The Leopard Print Strappy Mini Dress, from the supermarket’s own-brand label George, features a crew neck, soft jersey fabric and adjustable straps. It is sleeveless and falls to the knees, usually available in sizes 8 to 24. According to the product listing, it is machine washable but should not be dry cleaned or placed in a tumble drier.

The dress has generated a string of glowing reviews on the George website. One delighted shopper wrote: “Lovely little dress, not flimsy but it’s more a grey colour. In love. Really lovely and well worth the price.” Another added: “Cool dress, easy to wear. Looks really nice and stylish.” A third remarked: “Great price and nice comfy dress, I ordered various colours in this dress, however not 100% sure with the colour on me with this one, prefer the others so will be returning, spot on for the quality and money though.”
But not every review was entirely positive. One shopper, who identified as being taller than 5ft 10in, advised: “It’s fairly good quality for the price. Comfortable and not clingy for a size 14. If you’re taller than 5”10 I’d give it a miss as it will be too short.”
