Harper Beckham, 14, was photographed arriving at her older brother Brooklyn's home in Los Angeles this week, still wearing the pink midi dress and cardigan she had worn earlier that day to support their father David at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. She left a letter at the door. But Brooklyn was 3,000 miles away in New York, sharing an image of himself on a run. Any hopes of an olive branch were dashed.
Hours later, Brooklyn broke his social media silence with a paid advertisement and a cryptic caption: "It's complicated." A representative for the 26-year-old and his wife, Nicola Peltz, went further, telling HELLO! that Harper's visit was a staged photo opportunity. "That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras," the spokesperson said.
“Brooklyn Beckham dismissed sister Harper's visit as 'choreographed,' saying 'it's complicated' as family rift deepens.”
The accusation triggered a furious response from sources close to his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. "It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother," one source said. Another accused Brooklyn of "cashing in" on the feud, adding: "It just seems a tad hypocritical from someone claiming to want peace and privacy and then trying to cash in on it all."
Brooklyn has been estranged from his family for months, releasing a bombshell statement in January confirming he did not want to reconcile. His absence from his father's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony was highly noticeable. David, 49, thanked all four of his children during his speech, saying they were the reason he "gets out of bed in the morning." He added: "Kids - I'm going to get emotional now - I hope you bring my grandchildren here one day and tell them about a boy who dreamed big."
Piers Morgan weighed in with a savage dig on X, comparing Brooklyn to Prince Harry. Brooklyn's own Instagram posts from Friday proved he was at the New York City Wine & Food Festival while his family gathered in LA. His representative claimed the family's visit was an "orchestrated move" – a charge his parents' camp vehemently denies, insisting the 14-year-old just misses her brother. The rift shows no sign of healing.
