With the cost of living still squeezing families, more people are turning to clever hacks, loyalty apps and limited‑time offers to celebrate Father’s Day without breaking the bank. This year, a raft of freebies – from treetop adventures to pint‑sized rewards – could make 21 June big on memories and small on cost.
The deal‑hunters at Hotukdeals, the UK’s largest shopping community, have pulled together what they call the ultimate Father’s Day freebie list. Spokesperson Ben Smye said: “People often think treating someone means spending big, but it really doesn’t have to. There are so many smart ways to make Father’s Day meaningful without going over budget, from free meals to low‑cost days out. What matters most is the time you spend together, not the price tag. If you can save money and still make great memories, that’s a win for everyone.”
“Free Father's Day gifts for 2026 include treetop adventures, meals, chocolate and drinks as cost of living bites.”
Among the standout offers is a BOGOF on the Treetop Challenge at Go Ape, valid at 33 locations on Sunday 21 June. With Go Ape rarely discounting beyond 10–20%, the deal is described as “seriously strong”. For dads who still think they’re action heroes, it promises adrenaline without the price tag.
But the freebies don’t stop there. Bill’s is offering a free dinner for dads from 3pm on 21 June when another adult main is purchased. Meanwhile, Marks & Spencer has a Father’s Day edition Big Daddy Pistachio Chocolate Bar (280g–300g) available for free to selected Sparks loyalty account holders – simply log in, check eligibility, and add the item to your basket at £0.
For families with little ones, Gulliver’s Theme Parks are offering one free adult ticket with each full‑paying child over Father’s Day weekend. Animal‑loving dads can head to Longleat on 20–21 June, where free adult entry is available using promo code DAD26 – just book online for at least one adult and one child, or two adults, and enter the code at checkout; the cost of one adult ticket is automatically deducted.
A free personalised Father’s Day card is available through Snapfish with code FREECARD – you only cover postage. And for a drink on the day, the My Ember Rewards programme gives dad a free beverage – from ales and lagers to wines or soft drinks. At Bella Italia, each dad or father figure gets a free Birra Moretti on bookings for 21 June.
With these offers, Father’s Day 2026 can be celebrated without a hefty price tag. But many deals require advance planning – and with posting deadlines looming for those who prefer to send gifts, time is running out.
