Weapons-obsessed killer jailed after lie led police to handcuff dying student

A man who stabbed an 18-year-old student to death in a random street attack has been jailed for life with a minimum of 21 years, after his lie that the victim was the aggressor led police to handcuff the dying teenager. Vickrum Digwa, 23, knifed Henry Nowak five times as the university student walked home from a night out in Southampton. Bodycam footage shows Nowak on the ground, handcuffed and bleeding, telling officers: "I have been stabbed." He died alone in the street.
