Kaleb Cooper, the breakout star of Clarkson's Farm, kissed his bride Taya Wilkinson in front of a £250,000 McLaren supercar and a tractor at his wedding on Saturday – a ceremony fuelled by an unlimited supply of Jeremy Clarkson's own Hawkstone beer and cider.

The 28-year-old farm manager wed his long-term partner at Merriscourt, a 500-acre venue near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. The couple, who have three children – Oscar, five, three-year-old Willa, and Ashton, who is not yet one – posed for pictures alongside the farming machinery Cooper had insisted on. “I want tractors there, I want foragers there, but Taya’s like, ‘I don’t really want tractors there if I’m being honest’, and I’m going, ‘You haven’t really got a choice!’” he told The Daily Mail.

Cooper had previously described the reception as a “feral farm wedding”, with kegs of Hawkstone on tap. “You can imagine the kegs and instead of filling up your glass, you can just sit underneath the keg if you want,” he said.

Sharing an Instagram photo of the pair standing in a field in front of a tractor, Cooper wrote: “Such an amazing day yesterday celebrating our wedding! We both had the most amazing day! Mr and Mrs Cooper.” The groom wore a suit with a yellow tie, while the bride wore an off-the-shoulder dress and held a bouquet. Among the guests was Clarkson himself, accompanied by his girlfriend Lisa Hogan. Cooper proposed to Wilkinson on Christmas Day 2022, writing on Instagram: “She said yes! 2022 has been an amazing year. This definitely tops it off.”

The wedding comes weeks after Clarkson revealed on the latest season of Clarkson's Farm that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The former Top Gear host, 66, told Cooper and land agent Charlie Ireland during harvest planning: “I’ve got cancer,” adding that it was “aggressive” but discovered early. He later underwent surgery to remove part of his prostate and has since gone into remission. The sixth season of the show is due to air in 2027.

Cooper first appeared on the Prime Video series in 2021 as a young farmhand and is now farm manager. He has since published a book, The World According to Kaleb, and has a prize named after him at the British Farming Awards. He told The Telegraph in 2024 that his fame had led to both men and women sending him unsolicited nude photos.

For now, the newlyweds can enjoy their “feral farm wedding” moment – with tractors, a supercar, and a boss who bought the drinks.
