Lewis Hamilton blew a kiss to his girlfriend Kim Kardashian from the Formula 1 podium in Monaco on Sunday, as he equalled Ayrton Senna's record for most podium finishes in the principality.

The seven-time world champion finished second in a chaotic Monaco Grand Prix, moving him into second in the drivers' championship, 66 points behind runaway leader Kimi Antonelli. Hamilton's podium was his third of the season in six races, and his eighth in Monaco, putting him alongside his idol Senna.

Kardashian, who has been in a relationship with the 41-year-old since the start of the year, was on the grid and drew significant camera attention. Hamilton later said it was "amazing" to have her support, as his resurgence continues after a difficult end to last season when some questioned his future in the sport.

His performance also catapulted him past Mercedes teammate George Russell in the standings. Russell, who began the season as a title favourite, has struggled with tyre temperature issues and now trails Hamilton by 68 points.

Hamilton's podium came after he blew a kiss to Kardashian, who was watching from trackside. The moment was captured by television cameras and quickly spread on social media.

With Kardashian on the grid and a Ferrari that seems to keep getting faster, the British legend looks like a driver reborn.
