Mica, 21, and Samraj, 25, were dumped from the Love Island villa on Sunday night — but not before being handed the power to decide which couples make the final three in a brutal twist that left fans gasping.
The dumped pair returned for the penultimate episode of the ITV2 show, where they were tasked with sending one of the remaining couples home. It was a dramatic reversal of fortune: just moments earlier, the other Islanders had voted Mica and Samraj the weakest couple in the villa, claiming they were “not compatible.”

Samraj defended their relationship, telling his fellow Islanders he believed they would still be going strong in two years’ time. But viewers were quick to spot Mica’s reaction — and they didn’t hold back on social media.

The axed couple will not be part of the final, which will see one couple crowned winners of the 2026 series. But Samraj remains optimistic. Upon leaving the villa, he said: “I realised from the beginning, I would have loved this girl either as my best friend or as my girlfriend, a partner. Then we just went from strength to strength. I can’t wait to go to Barbados.”
Mica grew up in Barbados, where her aunt, Mia Mottley, is the country’s first-ever female president. The university student looked visibly emotional during the exit, but Samraj insisted their connection is real.
