Chelsea, under new boss Xabi Alonso, are reshaping their own squad. Alonso, speaking in his first press conference, confirmed that Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez still have a future at Stamford Bridge, but indicated Alejandro Garnacho does not. The Blues also sanctioned the exit of Mason Greenwood, who joined Turkish side Fenerbahce from Marseille in a £33.27m deal.
