Police are searching for a suspect after two children were sexually assaulted in Derry earlier this month.
An investigation was launched following the incident on June 8 in the Cedar Street area of the city. The suspect, described as a slim white male with dark hair and dental braces, was reportedly wearing a green Superdry hoodie, dark trousers and dark-coloured shoes at the time of the assault.

PSNI Inspector Ferriby appealed for anyone in the area who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1137 of 08/06/2026. “We would be particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam or other footage,” Ferriby said.
