The US superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end became engaged 10 months ago, announcing the news in an Instagram post that racked up 14m likes in its first hour online. For today’s event, they held an intimate rehearsal dinner at MSG with a rumoured guest list of 1,000, and construction of a custom-made fairytale castle inside the venue. But tight security, NDAs, and New York streets on lockdown have fuelled speculation that the real ceremony already happened.
