Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak were crowned winners of Love Island’s 13th season on Monday night, taking 62.4% of the final vote – almost double the 37.6% won by runners-up Jasmine Muller and Kavan Murphy. The couple, who coupled up on day 26 after Lorenzo brought Julia back from Casa Amor, will split the £50,000 prize.
Speaking after the victory, Lorenzo said he wants to buy “a nice token from this experience, maybe a watch or something to commemorate it”. Julia immediately declared: “Heels! I’m getting myself a nice pair of heels.” Lorenzo added: “And maybe a good holiday.”

But the win was not without tension. When Jasmine learned during the final that the public had nicknamed her and Lorenzo “Jarenzo”, she visibly cringed and looked horrified, covering Kavan’s ears. Lorenzo earlier coupled with Jasmine, Priya and even Yasmin before settling with Julia. Some fans have voiced doubts about the winners’ relationship, but Lorenzo pushed back, saying he understands the scepticism because they have been “not as quick to go through milestones on TV”, but that pressure would have “ruined things” for him.
The final voting figures also revealed that Simba and Angelista came third, just 1.1% behind Jasmine and Kavan. Meanwhile, host Maya Jama dropped a hint about her future on the show, telling the camera: “I will see you very soon but for the last time, give it up for our winners!” The comment suggests she may return despite earlier rumours she would quit.
Astrologer Inbaal Honigman, speaking to the Daily Star on behalf of Top Rated Bingo Sites, predicted that couple Yasmin and Tommy are most likely to split after the show, citing “a lack of shared interests” and conflicting schedules.
